WARRANTY PRODUCTS

Teak and Solid Hardwood Outdoor Furniture
Anderson honors the Limited Warranty to the original retail purchaser, to be free from the manufacturing defects and workmanship, but does not include any small cracks in the end grain of wooden furniture. 

Anderson will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts excluding shipping cost from the retailer to and from Anderson or a repair center appointed by the Customer Service Department of Anderson to the original purchaser.  After one year from the date of purchaser, the customer will be responsible to packing, and all the shipping and transportation costs.  A 1-Year Limited Warranty is given to all frames used in upholstered chairs, love seats, sofas, ottomans, loungers, benches and tables for commercial use.  However, a 2-Year Limited Warranty is given for residential use for the same products mentioned above.

All-Weather Wicker Frames
Anderson honors the Limited Warranty to the original retail purchaser, to be free from the manufacturing defects.  Anderson will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts excluding shipping cost from the retailer to and from Anderson or a repair center appointed by the Customer Service Department of Anderson to the original purchaser.  After one year from the date of purchaser, the customer will be responsible to packing, and all the shipping and transportation costs.  A 1-Year Limited Warranty is given to all frames used in upholstered chairs, love seats, sofas, ottomans, loungers, benches and tables for commercial use.

Umbrella Frames & Fabrics
Anderson warrants patio umbrellas and umbrella bases to the original retail purchaser for 1 year against manufacturing defects from exposure conditions, splitting and rusting. 

Fabrics are warranted for 1 year.  At the discretion of the manufacturer, a damaged part will be replaced free of charge (excluding shipping) with the proof of purchase.

Cushions
Anderson warrants the seat cushions to you, the original retail purchaser, for 1 year from date of purchase, against loss of resiliency. All cushioning will soften with normal use and will conform to the shape of the user. This should be considered normal wear, and not as a loss of resiliency or a manufacturing defect.  Anderson will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts excluding shipping costs from the retailer to and from Anderson or a repair center appointed by the Customer Service Department of Anderson to the original purchaser.  All cushions order are final.  No return, no refund after the cushion is being made. 

What The Warranties Do not Cover
  • Caused by abusive use
  • Caused by lack of reasonable use or necessary care as well as maintenance
  • Worn out and fading due to exposure to ocean air (when use at beach area)
  • Normal fading of fabrics or upholstery materials
  • Changes in wood color due to natural aging of the wood or sunlight exposure        
  • Break of table tops caused by umbrella
  • Glass tabletops
  • Cracking of tubing due to high pressure to water or freezing temperatures
  • Wind damage
  • Acts of Nature
Warranty and Proof of Purchase
Proof of purchase is required with the valid date of warranty only from the original buyer.  Pictures or other proof may also be required to claim the warranty.

Limitation and Exceptions
All Products
These Limited Warranties provide coverage to the original purchaser and do not apply to rented uses.

These Limited Warranties do not apply to any merchandise purchased “as is” or second-hand nor to any merchandise purchased at a distress sale, going-out- of business sale, or from a liquidator.  All warranties, express and implied, cover only normal usage. No warranty, express or implied, applies to any condition resulting from misuse or abuse, or any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning, or care.

100% Product Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with our product, let us know and we'll make it right.  Within 30 days, we'll gladly replace it, refund your money (excluding delivery and restocking charges*) or credit you for our other items.  After 30 days items may be exchanged for the same product or for merchandise credit (excluding delivery and restocking charges*).

Remedy
Under these Limited Warranties, the sole liability of Anderson is limited to repair, or at its option, replacement. Anderson will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts excluding shipping costs from the retailer to and from Anderson to the original purchaser.  After one year from the date of purchase, the purchaser will be responsible for labor, packing, and all shipping and transportation costs. If within the warranty period, identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, Anderson reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality. Replacement fabrics may vary in color from the original due to dye lot differences.

Fabrics
The fabric warranties do not cover any damage or failure of the fabric where there is evidence of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, or chemical treatment with any protective coating by the dealer or consumer, and use of such treatment voids all warranties.

Finishes
These Limited Warranties do not cover any damage to or failure of the finish resulting from alcohol or water damage, exposure to sunlight, household humidity, or incorrect application of chemical treatment or any protective coating by the dealer or consumer.

Implied Warranties
Implied warranties, including any of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose imposed on the sale of this furniture and it parts under state law, are limited to the following durations. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

RETURN POLICY
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy
  • Any claim for defective merchandise must be packed in Anderson Teak original boxes and without writing on the box.
  • Product has to be in original condition; do not finish or paint the product, all hardware / accessories have to be returning completely.  
  • If you are not satisfied with the product, it may be returned in its original condition within 30 days for a full refund, excluding shipping and re-stocking fee. 
  • There will be 15% re-stocking fee for all return items (call for details).
  • Claims for defects or missing parts must be made within 7 days only.  After 7 days, there is no service.  NO EXCEPTION.
  • Pictures are required to claim merchandise defective.  Please e-mail to cs@andersonteak.com or mail in to our address.
  • We will not accept any exchange or return on any used, previously displayed, or assembled merchandise.
  • Any claims for merchandise damaged in transit must be made through carrier.
  • Before signing freight bill, please inspect all boxes for damages (make sure the carrier signs the freight bill for any damages).
  • All returned shipments must be freight prepaid and include the RMA number and a copy of the original invoice.
  • All cushion orders are final.  No return and no refund.
  • No cash refunds.  Exchange and credit only.
  • The RMA policy is for Reseller only.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Disclaimer
No other express warranty has been made or will be made on behalf of Anderson Teak with respect to the furniture and its parts or the operation, repair, or replacement of the furniture and its part.  In no event shall Anderson Teak be responsible for consequential or incidental damages, such as loss of use, inconvenience, loss or damage to personal property, whether indirect or direct, and whether arising in contract or tort.  In no event shall Anderson Teak responsible exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement.

Claim Procedure
If a problem should arise which you feel is covered by our Limited Warranties, contact the Anderson authorized retailer from whom you purchased your furniture. The original bill of sale and the product serial number are necessary for the fulfillment of the warranty. Please make sure any claim for warranty service is accompanied by the necessary information to satisfy the warranty requirements. If necessary, the retailer will contact Anderson to establish service. If the problem can be easily corrected, Anderson will authorize the retailer to make those repairs. Anderson reserves the right to require defective parts is returned to the factory upon request.

Anderson is not responsible for scheduling or the cost of transporting your furniture from your home to the retailer or from the retailer to your home. You must make those arrangements with the retailer. If you or the retailer has moved and you need service, contact Anderson in writing or call our Customer Service.

As a part of our commitment to your privacy, we support and adhere to the guidelines and practices adopted by the Direct Marketing Association's "Privacy Promise to American Consumers." We will not sell, share, or rent your information to others for purposes of solicitation. All information gathered by us is used only to assist us in delivering a product to your home or business. If you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to purchase products, or access certain services, offers and content on our web site.

We will use your personal information you provide for internal purposes, such as confirming and tracking your order, subscription or registration, analyzing trends and statistics, informing you of backorders and providing you with information from and about our website.

Please remember, if you delete certain information you may not be able to continue to purchase products or access other portions of our web site without entering additional information.

Children under the age of 13 should always ask their parents or guardians for permission before providing any personal information to anyone online. We urge parents and guardians to participate in their children's online activities and use parental control or other web filtering technology to supervise children's access to the web.

Security
We use sophisticated encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of your personal information that you share with us. We urge you to keep your password in a safe place and not to divulge it to anyone. Also remember to sign off your account and close your browser window when you have finished shopping with us. Secure Payment Processing:
Credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc. will be securely transmitted from customers' browser to our servers using 128 Bit SSL encryption.

Fraud Protection:
Our shopping cart now protects against fraudulent transactions with the Address Verification Service (AVS). The shopping cart allows a merchant to specify which types of AVS mismatches will result in a decline of the client credit card authorization request.
